PR first time with kids - June 2021
 

We have been to PR once but it was on a cruise excursion, was there for less than 8 hours, we got dropped off at Old San Juan, toured the fort, and walked around for a bit, but that's it. This time we want to go back and visit. What are the must do, especially kids friendly activities.
Best location to stay, we have 9 days there, traveling from California.
AirBnB or hotel? and which hotel?
We want to rent a car and drive around the island to explore as well, which route would you recommend?
Also, I've read about Vieques and wanted to go there for the bio bay kayak, which tour company would you recommend, and are kids allowed (my kids are 9 and 6). Where would you recommend to stay in Vieques, are there anything else to do besides beaches, snorkeling, etc.?
