Good Price in Aruba??

I booked Radisson for 7 days in Nov. for $1453 per person (2 of us). Does anyone who has been there know if this a good deal?? Hotel/airfare and breakfast included and $100 food and bev. credit. Thanks!

Doesn't look like a great deal to me.
I checked some Novemeber dates myself and found standard rooms as low as $169. For 7 nights that's $1183.
That leaves you almost $1800 for a pair of air tickets and some breakfasts.
Who gave you that rate?

What room category is it and when are you going?

You might check out American Airlines Vacations for a comparison with its summer sale. www.aavacations.com. We got a good price from them when we went in early July.

Where are you flying from?

I agree with Ted. It doesn't look like an extravagant price, but it's also not a real bargain.

I checked Travelocity and they show a rate at the Radisson as low as $149/night for the first week of November (then jumping to the $169 rate Ted mentioned).

I would expect that any travel agent worth his salt could beat your price handily.

Have fun!

I am staying in the Ocean/Pool room and I am going in November, leaving from Newark Liberty,NJ. I understand that the ocean/pool is usually a nicer room with a better view, as compared to standard. What do you think?? Thanks for the replies...

If you do a text search on this site for the Radisson Aruba, you should find a lot of discussion about the rooms that took place over the last several weeks.
We stayed there recently in an ocean/pool room. They are the rooms closest to the ocean. When you check in, try to get a room in the Aruba tower. They are larger and a bit nicer than the other 2 towers, but all of the rooms are nice. Have fun.
