Good price for Couples Jamaica trip?
 

My travel agent quoted me $3400 for 2 people to go to Couples Negril Nov. 27-Dec 4th. Is this a good price? We fly out of Indianapolis.

I am looking for an upscale all inclusive. No rowdiness. Grand Lido is very expensive. I was thinking of RiU Tropical in Negril.

I think that sounds like a good price. My impression from friends who have been to both is that Couples is much nicer than the Riu.

The travel agent quoted me $2,600 for RIU Tropical Bay and $3,400 for Couples Negril. From what I've been reading, it looks like Couples Negril is worth the extra $$$.

We were there May of 2003 and really enjoyed the place. I payed $3600 for nine days with air from Atlanta.

The food and service at this resort are top notch! Have fun. Get out and see some of Negril. There's some fun beach parties at night.

I found another travel agent who offered me the rate of $2,938 for the same package that a different one originally offered me for $3,400. How can there be such a difference??

It could be that you hit a sale. That's a good price. I would book that!
