Golf on T & C

Has anyone played golf on T & C? Is Parrot Cay convenient to golf? How about Point Grace? What are green fees in February?
Thanks!!!

Hi, we stayed at Point Grace last April and my husband played golf every day. Point Grace operated a complimentary shuttle to the golf course. The golf was about $120 a round but if you purchased five rounds I think it was $450. I do not think Parrot Cay is convenient to golf because you would have to take a boat from the island and then a taxi from the boat. We were very happy with Point Grace. The service isn't five-star but we didn't care. The accomodations were gorgeous and large, the landscaping beautiful, very nice pool area and of course spectacular Grace Bay beach. We actually were able to walk down the beach to several restaurants so didn't even take many taxis.

Thanks Eileen.
Did you not do a meal plan at PG? I notice you said you walked to some restaurants nearby. Would you suggest that over meals at PG? How about breakfast?

There wasn't a meal plan at PG when we were there -- included in the price of the room was a lavish cold breakfast buffet every a.m., complimentary wine and cheese every evening and a weekly manager's cocktail party with so much food that it was our dinner that night. The restaurant at PG was just getting started when we were there and I found the prices exorbitant. I would not take a meal plan if they have one now. Hemingway's next door at The Sands was great for lunch, so was the restaurant at Sibonne which is next door to The Sands. For dinner some of the places we went to was Caicos Cafe (walked), Anacoana at Grace Bay Club (walked), Coyaba (pricey but good - a cab ride from PG), Coco Bistro (a really cute, casual restaurant in a grove of trees, short cab ride from PG). Can't rememher the others. We had a great time. This question is asked a lot so I'll answer it in case you are wondering -- we considered renting a car but it was going to be about $300 for the week and am I glad we didn't. We spent some $$ on cabs but in the end saved ourselves about $200 by not renting a car.
