Girls' trip, after Anguilla

A few thirty-something ladies are going to Anguilla in November for a wedding and we are looking for where to extend our vacation after that. Hoping to not waste a whole day traveling (though I know that's difficult from Anguilla, and we're not ruling it completely out) - but therefore weighing options like St. Martin, BVIs...? We'd like great beaches, fun but casual bars/nightlife, and good hotel recommendations (priced within reason, but nice hotels). Ideas?

St. Martin is just a 5 minute flight or 20 minute ferry ride from Anguilla so going there you "whole day getting there". Likewise, you can fly to St. Bart's in about 20 minute (other option is to go via St. Martin and take a ferry or plane to St. Bart's).

To reach the BVI's by "scheduled" air you have to first get yourself to St. Martin then take LIAT or Winair to Tortola. You'll probably need at least 1/2 day to make the trip. Other islands you might consider are St. Kitts, Nevis, Antigua but they will all take "time" to reach if you fly by scheduled air.

How many "ladies" are in your group? If you have more than 3 you might look into chartering a flight to the island you select through Anguilla Air Services. With a charter flight, the plane will "leave" when you want so you are looking at a minimum of airport time meaning you can get to your destination rather quickly and not "lose a day" traveling. For example it's about a 40 minute flight from Anguilla to Tortola so even figuring "airport time" & land transportation on both ends you can be on the beach relaxing in less than 2 hours after departing your hotel on Anguilla.
