Girlfriends All Inclusive Resort Punta Cana or Mexico

Looking for suggestions for AI resort in Punta Cana or Mexico for a girl friends getaway trip, we are in our early 40s. Prefer adults only resort and a spa is a must. Looking for some luxury amenities at the right price, trying to keep budget under $1200 each for accommodations and airfare 4 nights / 5 days. Travel in April 2015. Would entertain other Caribbean destinations with the exception of Jamaica and the Bahamas. Thanks

Look into the Valentine Imperial Maya in Mexico's Riviera Maya. It is an adults only with a very nice beach, several pools, good food, activities if you want them and some night life.

After a ton of research we booked a 5 nights girls trip this year to Secrets Maroma. It looks heavenly. We are paying roughly 1800pp including airfare from the northeast coast. All inclusive on a gorgeous beach and great spa in addition to a very long list of included activities.

Secrets Maroma will have a lot of honeymooners and is really geared toward couples. You and your friends can make your own good times though.

I agree with Schmerl. I wished I would have seen this post before you booked. I would have recommended The Royal Playa del Carmen resort. It's an adult's only AI, but not so much geared to just couples/honeymooners. It's located within a 5 minute walk to 5th Avenue. It also shares privileges with their sister resort across the street.

Secrets Maroma is a very nice resort that sits on a great section of beach. I agree that you and your friends will probably still have a good time.

I'm no expert on All-Inclusives but I MUCH prefer Mexico over the DR as a destination.

Jamaica would be my next suggestion but you have already eliminated that, it appears.
