The complain about them because they couldn't sit on the beach because of the wind. I expected wind but not that much! I think different answers depends on what time of year that you go maybe. And those who haven't traveled anywhere else don't know that all beaches are not windy like Aruba.

thanks for most of your replies. i am so interested because we are bringing our granddaughter who is a toddler and was concerned about how strong they were. because of some honest opinions which i appreciate, i think i will investigate some other sites. we have not traveled that much, but just bought a marriott timeshare. thanks again

Have friends who Marriott timeshare and went to Aruba. Found it was not near as nice as some of the other places they have visited. Were upset since it did not equate to their home resort in Hawaii and were very very disappointed.

I think we're beating a dead horse. Either the winds are soothing and cooling or they can be bad enough to hurt the skin. Guess you won't know until you get there. Case closed already. Geez!
