Don't know about Aruba specifically, but the Frommer website has a great section on G/L travel, with tons of links. It's at http://www.frommers.com/vacations/sp...lers/lesbigay/

I'm sure you can find info on the Caribbean on one of the sites he lists.

Good luck!

I couldn't help looking around myself a bit. Here is a list of "editor's choice" hotels in the Caribbean from http://www.outandabout.com/

Caribbean
La Moka, Cuba
A stylish surprise an hour from Havana.

Sofitel Christopher Hotel, St. Barths
Superb service and a spectacular pool.

Pink Sands, Bahamas
Hip, elegant, funky and suave.

Inn of the Blue Horizon, Vieques
Stylish hideaway for gay cognoscenti.

Cooper Island Resort, BVI
A laid-back, gay-friendly retreat.

Marriott Condado Beach, San Juan
Modern comfort and gay convenience.

Aha, I also found an article about Aruba on gay.net at http://www.gay.net/cruise/travel_car...ba_000215.html.

They say:

"In addition to its rugged outback, Aruba offers some of the Caribbean's most appealing stretches of white-sand beaches. Clean, vast, with unbelievably clear waters, Aruba's beaches are undoubtedly its biggest tourist draw. Palm Beach, near the high-rise hotels is perhaps the most beautiful, but Eagle Beach, near the low-rise hotels, has the most gay sunbathers, especially near the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort. This resort by the way, and the Hyatt Regency, are both favorites with gay vacationers.

After sundown, Aruba holds a multitude of sinful delights, including gourmet restaurants, and hopping nightspots. For a superior culinary experience in a gay-friendly environment, try Boonoonoonoos, Gasparito Restaurant and Art Gallery and the Old Cunucu House, all of which specialize in pan-Caribbean cuisine. After dinner, stop by Jimmy's Place, a Dutch-flavored, gay-friendly watering hole. Or, you can always swing by the flashy casinos, the most popular of which include the Royal Cabana, the Alhambra, the Stellaris and the Crystal Casino."

Hope this helps!!!
