Gallows Point SJ room
 

We just booked a lower ocean room a Gallows Point, unit 2B whch we stayed in in 2000. Has anyone stayed there recently who could tell me if the view is obscured at all? I seem to remember a small tree in front 5 yrs. ago.

Sorry to jump in on your post, but if you stayed there in 2000, any recommendations for the harbor view rooms? We want an upper level. Plan on going the end of November.

brenandg: We stayed in 10C, an upper level room with a "harbor room" rate that was actually right on the point with a harbor view and a view to STT. We loved it and would definitely try to reserve that one again.

Just stayed in 3C. There is a lovely bush and a palm tree in front of unit 2, of which I have a picture: (just cut and paste)

Thanks Carol47. A couple of days ago we decided to go for an upper loft room instead and we just happened to book 3C! How are the inside furnishings? Someone once mentioned that some of the units at Gallows are in need to updating. Can you think of anything it did not have that you wished to would have brought? Also can you see the outside and ocean from the loft? Thanks.

3C is wonderful. Views out both sides, right on the point. I can't think of anything I wish I would have brought. The room is great. Wicker furniture, two pull-out sofas, table with 4 chairs. If you could see those two pics I posted, I will post a few of our unit from the inside! Here goes...hope it works.

Have a wonderful time. You won't be disappointed in 3C! Look for our gecko friend on the balcony.
