Four Seasons Nevis
 

any suggestions on whether to use MAP plan or go ala carte, any ideas

It doesn't matter. The Four Seasons Nevis as of last week was still digging out. I sailed by it and it was truly sad to see such a property devistated. The Golf Green by the sea was half gone, the dock was ripped up, all the first floor had been underwater, the restaurant by the sea had had the foundation erroded. It looked like it would be a long time before it could reopen. <BR> <BR>

How sad! I guess we went there just in time. We were there last summer in July and had a wonderful time.

When you sailed by, did it look like any work was being done? Last I heard there were no plans to reopen and I am hoping the "owners" had a change of heart! Actually the golf course in places had 30" of water on in I was told and the pix brought tears to my eyes!

Went to FourSeasons Nevis 2 years ago. The resort is scheduled to open again in November, 2000.

Unless someone know's different, as of last week, 12 holes are now open and they hope to open November 17,00. <BR>

Read that they were playing golf already! Good news ... now if Caribb time were only real time ... but glad they plan to be up and running this winter!!!
