Four nights in Nassau

It took over four months, but I have finally prepared a trip report from the
Bahamas in February. We had some problems with the hotel which took nearly 2
months to correct and they had left me out of the mood for doing this report.

My best time during the trio was haivng rum drinks and dessert at the Cafe at the Great Hall of Waters at Atlantis while listening to Garrett Cooper perform and watching the fish pass in the Ruins Lagoon

There are over 130 photos. http://www.mightymac.org/bahamas/

The link to your report does not work.

Oh well.....when I tried the link again it worked just fine.
You certainly did a lot! Great pictures!

Thanks, schmerl.

The server for that domain has been a little slow lately.

Thanks for the wonderful pictures and trip report. You certainly packed a lot in! It's too bad about the hotel. It looks like a nice place so thanks for reporting your experience.

You are welcome, Sharona. Perhaps they will someday change management.

I can understand the difficulty you had with hotel reservations systems and how it can adversely affect the mood of the trip.

I enjoyed your pictures as a fellow boater, I need to get my latest Bahamas excursion images up for public viewing. This trip however was a bit different than our previous trips since we missed Nassau completely making our trip an island adventure. We has a great time escaping the hustle and bustle of the busier Nassau marina like Hurricane Hole and Atlantis.

Our adventure started to the Northwest this time, making West End, Grand Bahama our point of entry. We stayed the first night in Old Bahama Bay's marina as they are the official point of entry for the region. Great resort, awesome beach and a nice way to start out day 1.

After a few more days of travel and anchoring for the night offshore, we decided to spend a few days in Harbor Island at Valentines. Another great resort with nice condominium accommodations since we wanted to get out of the boat for a night or two.

We came around the south side of Grand Bahama returning to Old Bahama Bay to spend a night at the resort. Such a great time we decided to stay a second night!

We love boating but also recognize the need to escape and enjoy. This trip will definitely be repeated!

I'm glad that you had such a good time!

I second the vote for the Radisson. It is a nice property, with an excellent location and very accommodating staff.

This is bizzare. I was posting that to a different thread and it came up here.
