This is not about getting money; I know one of the families personally involved. As you can see from an earlier post, an individual did have a child in this man's care and did not know what caused her subsequent emotional difficulties. It is important for people to know this may have occurred to their children, and it is also important to know the outrageous position of Wyndham so that you can decide whether to continue giving them your business.

Yes, I'm familiar with the concept of a class action suit. I also know there is power in numbers and the more participants you have the louder the message and hopefully the more chances of getting a suspected pedophile behind bars...

The pedophile in this case is not SUSPECTED, he is CONVICTED of this crime (for one child) and is in jail. Child Help and the National Center are trying to identify other victims to assist them, since Wyndham refuses to identify children who were known to be in this man's care for several years.

POKEY27-
Why are you so concerned about this case? I am one of the mothers who placed my child in that very unsafe kid's club. I am not sueing Wyndham nor have I retained legal counsel. I would certainly hope the Wyndham Corporation would do the right thing and notify the parents of the children that were under the convicted child molester's supervision(which they have refused to do). By the way, there is no talk of class action suit just pressure from The Center for Missing and Exploited Children and CHILDHelpUSA to the Wyndham to identify potential victims. Are you saying that you are suspicious of these national organizations whose mission it is to protect children? Threehearts

I am not concerned about the case. I am concerned that a sue-happy person is using this board as a venue to try to get other people to go along with them. I also do not believe what is written is true and factual. It amazes me how gullable people on this board are. And I seriously doubt all those on the bandwagon (probably one person is) are telling the truth. This is a travel discussion board, not "how can I use this trvel board to make me money">

Assuming most families with children would like to travel to safe resorts, this thread is at the least a wake-up call. I heavily researched my stay at the Wyndham and could not have known that they wouldn't check the refences of their employees in the kid's club. AGAIN- If you feel the experience of these parents is not valid, please call the phone numbers listed or in fact the F.B.I. who has been contacted by CHILDHelp in trying to locate potential victims. As far as I know, the Center for Missing and Exploited Children is not a law firm so that number should be good for most skeptics.
