For Blamona: Question re: Turks and Caicos weather in November
Hi, Blamona!
I am planning a mini family reunion for T&C next November. We had picture perfect weather when we visited in November of last year. Is that typical or were we just really lucky? My MIL looked at the stats online and is concerned because it says that October-November is still hurricane season ( which I knew) and the rainiest time of year there. What has your experience been at that time of year? I realize there are no guarantees, and that weather everywhere has been wacky lately, but still...! Thanks for your help!

I usually don't travel there in November. I was the last November and it was awesome weather. Downright perfect.
I can tell you Provo is on average one of the driest islands in Atlantic/ Caribbean.
It is hurricane season everywhere. Even a little chance becomes a huge chance when a particular island is hit. I can say Provo has taken it well when it happens.
I say, either get insurance for price of mind, or just go. But either wa y, GO!

Thanks, Virginia! We had the most wonderful time last November. But this time we are bringing my 83-year-old MIL, so I want to make sure that it's typically an OK time to go. Then again, the weather has been so strange EVERYWHERE this year, who knows?
