Food at all-inclusive(Sandals,et all)??

My fiance and I are looking into taking a trip to the Caribbean for our honeymoon next June. I'm all for all-inclusive, but she's afraid that her only food choices will be too exotic for her taste(meat and potatoes woman). What is your experience with the choice of food at the all-inclusives, especially Sandals?? Thanks!!

Oh my god, I thought I was the only one with a picky eater. My hubbie is a meat and potatoe man, never wanting to try anything new. That was our first concern on our first trip to a Sandals. How wrong I was, he ate like a pig while we were their. They have chicken , steak, hamburgers, just about anything your want. There are some native foods if your game to try them. We are Sandals people all the way and have been to many of the resort and loved all the food. Email me if you would like.

Sandals offers a very good selection of foods, especially at the buffets for breakfast, lunch and theme night dinners. The buffets offer a huge selectionof fruits, veggies, meats and cheeses and hot and cold dishes from local foods to everyday tastes. The Italian restaurants there are wonderful - great menu, OK Corral is like a tex-mex, and Kimono's, which are very popular at Sandals resorts, is like a oriental flair where the chef prepares the food in front of you. She will not go hungry and will find something to please her.

Hi. We stayed at Sandals St Lucia 2years ago. The food was fabulous! I have stayed at other all inclusives besides Sandals and the food could not even compare. Tell her not to worry, their menues are pretty extensive and I'm sure she would find something(maybe even try new things since it is included!) Have a great honeymoon!

Satyed at Sandals St Lucia. There were 8-9 restaurants between the two resorts and only two buffets. The food is excellent. You can order as much of it as you want. Appetizers, salads, entrees, deserts, drinks etc.. could be ordered in multiples, shared and skipped if nothing was to your taste. Sometimes we orders 3 entrees or appetizers between us to try the different items as more than one looked good. Book your restaurants when you get ther and don't be afraid to call and ask them to send you the menus so you could review them in advance of your trip or before you book. We did and were very satisfied!

I posted a response to this one but have to tell you this. During the return quest dinner my hubbie did not like the choice of food they served, and decided not to eat. During the dinner the chef came out of the kitchen and asked him what he would like to eat, he said steak and they bought him 2 of the biggest steaks I ever seen with a baked potatoe "Qrilled perfectly". from that day on he was know as the steakman. They made sure we were taken care of every night. This was at Sandals St.Lucia Golf & Spa Resort. It was our 25th anniversary and they gave us a huge flower centerpiece for our room. They are great people!
