Flying from Barbados to Canouan Island
 

We are staying at Raffles on Canouan Island for our Honeymoon in December. We fly into Barbados and then taking a charter flight into Canouan Island.

What are these flights like? I am a nervous flier so I am trying to prepare myself.

Any helpful hints or reviews are welcome!

Relax! You are going to one of the most beautiful places on earth! We flew from Barbados to Bequia on SVG Air about 2 years ago and it was fine. The plane was small but the trip was very short and uneventful except for the beautiful scenery. We did a sail through the Tobago Cays and had lunch on Canouan. Truly Paradise! Have a wonderful time.

First of all, congratulations. YOu will LOVE Raffles.

Don't worry about the flight. While it is a small plane, the flights are very smooth and the flight is short (40 minutes in the air). The pilots are very good and the safety record is excellent.

you also fly low, and get GORGEOUS views. I'm a nervous flyer, yet I would do it in a heart beat.
