First time visitors

Hello,

We are going to Anguilla for the very first time 5/29 - 6/12/18
I pretty much have a grasp on what to expect, do , eat etc.
My question is - we have 4 days to play with now that my husband realizes he isn't actually going to go to work the day after we get home :) - so we are talking about going somewhere else for the days left.
The obvious choice would be St Marteen/St Martin. However, I'm not sure leaving such a quiet relaxing place and heading into such a touristy spot is exactly what we want. Ive been reading that going from one island to another is near impossible fora reasonable price.

Hubs would like a place that is literally on the beach without neighbors who can look at your every move. Not secluded but some room - I think the activities we can figure out as we go.

Our budget would ideally be around $125/night or preferably less.

Any ideas? Oh- we fly into Boston to go home if that makes any difference..

thanks!

Thank you

You have to fly out of St Martin anyway. It's a fairly short ferry ride from Anguilla. While it may not be as secluded as you want, Grand Case has incredible restaurants. You can also fly from St Martin to St Barts, but you would definitely need to increase the old budget. Or you could fly to Saba, but no beachfront, just incredible mountain vistas. It would be a good contrast to flat Anguilla.

I am no expert on these islands but I think $125 for a private beach front property anywhere is asking a lot.

Thank you for the suggestions I appreciate it. I did search and possibly found something in Grand -Case It is 177 - right on the water.

I have lot's of suggestions, but $125/night for beachfront accommodations seems nearly impossible. There (might) be some type of eco-camping type places that might fit that budget, but for a decent condo or hotel room I think you will need to increase that budget.

I think $200-$300 per night might be a lot more realistic for something decent right on the beach.
