ps

There is construction going on on site at Estate Lindholm too.
Did they tell you that?

Can't help you with the cab fare, but it would take about 5 minutes to drive to Caneel and a few minutes more to get to Hawksnest from Estate Lindholm. Good choice.

We stayed at Estate Lindholm this December and loved it! You can use taxis there, but I would recommend renting a vehicle because it's so much more convenient. If you click my name you should be able to find my review and a link to my pictures. It's a 10-15 minute walk down a trail to Solomon and Honeymoon Beach. The day we went the water was a little wavy (but that shouldn't be a problem for you in June), so snorkeling was not easy, but we did see some interesting things there. Once you are at Honeymoon, it's an easy walk down a dirt road to Caneel Bay. There is great snorkeling there. If you are lazy like we were, you could take a taxi back to Estate Lindholm from Caneel(very short ride) instead of walking back up the trail. There was construction going on, but I never heard a thing! Let me know if you have any questions.

It's been several years since I stayed at Estate Lindholm, but I LOVED the location and the beautiful view. We walked down to the beach and to town several times - not that big a deal if you are in decent shape. We really enjoyed the breakfast and honor bar they provided too.

xkenx mentioned Terrahawk. I've tried to rent that villa in the past, but it was booked for my time frame. It would be worth looking into as well.

Happy planning!

Just another nod for Estate Lindholm. It's absolutely adorable and the family that runs it lives on site so are naturally, very responsive. They also get consistently great reviews. May not be everyone's perfect cup of tea, but definitely check out their website. They are located next to Asolare, a popular restaurant with awesome views. Soggydollar: you are correct, sir. :)

Hi,

I found out there are two garden rooms available at Estate Lindholm for the month of June. For those who have stayed there, how does the "Maho" room compare to the "Caneel" room? Are they basically the same?

Thanks,
Katie
