Ferry to Out Islands?
Are there ferries to any of the Out Islands from Freeport or Nassau? If not, what is the least expensive but still safe small plane option? (If I can get up the nerve to get on one!)
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

A crazy option. I've always wanted to take the mail boat after watching one dock in Bennett's Harbour on Cat Island. No way would my wife take it. It's definitely a slow way to get to the Out Islands. Goggle Bahama mail boats and you'll see the schedule.

The BoHengy ferry goes from Nassau to Eleuthera and Harbour Island with a couple of stops including Spanish Wells. The trip to Harbour Island is about 2 hours and the ferry is large enough so you would be very comfortable. There's amazing views and the ferry offers snacks and drinks.
If you need help on Eleuthera or Harbour Island, let me know.
The website for more info on the ferry is www.bahamaferries.com
