Ferry Questions
 
How long does it take to go from St. Thomas to St John on the ferry? And how big is the ferry?<BR><BR>How long does it take to go from St. Thomas to Tortola? How big is the ferry?

St Thomas to St John - if you go from Charlotte Amalie it takes about 20 minutes tops. If you go from Red Hook, about 10/15 minutes. Standard sized passenger ferries. Journey is usually calm.<BR><BR>St Thomas to Tortola - If you go from Charlotte Amalie - about 50 minutes. If you go from Red Hook about 35 minutes. Standard sized passenger ferry. Good views of St John and its awesome beauty along the way.

40 to 45 minutes from Charlotte Amalie to Cruz Bay.<BR>15 minutes from Red Hook to Cruz Bay. <BR><BR>40 minutes from Red Hook to West End, Tortola<BR>45 minutes from Charlotte Amalie to West End<BR>about an hour and 30 minutes into RoadTown<BR>Longer time returning due to clearing immigration and customs. <BR>Going can be rougher than returning and it can get bumpy. <BR>
