Ferry from St. Kitts to Nevis

I am looking for info on the ferry from STK to Nevis... does it run often? Is there one that will drop you off at the Four Seasons or will we need to take a cab?

Thanks

Hi Ruby:

If you are looking for the ferry schedule please visit http://www.discover-stkitts-nevis-beaches.com

There is more than one ferry that takes you from St. Kitts to Nevis.

Departs St. Kitts:

Monday-Friday:

7:15 AM
12:15 PM
4:15 PM

Saturday:

7:15AM, 12:15PM, 4:15PM and 8:00PM

Sunday:

8:00AM, 4:00PM

The Four Seasons has their own ferry that takes guests to the hotel. You might want to contact the hotel directly.

The ferry from St. Kitts departs from Basseterre and will leave passengers off in Charlestown. It's about a 45 minute trip. From there you will need a taxi to take you to the Four Seasons Resort. The fare for the Ferry is about US$8 PP one-way plus a US$1 Port Tax. As Liz pointed out, if you are staying at the Four Seasons they have their own motor launch which their guests can use for the trip. You have to reserve space on the boat which you can do by calling the hotel directly. It's a bit pricey (I think US$70 to $80 PP one way - sorry I can't be more accurate as it's been a while since I used this service) but it will leave you off at the hotel dock. The Four Seasons will allow non-hotel guests to use the ferry but it's subject to space availability.

Carib-ruby - If it works with your flight schedule, I would just take the ferry. I take the ferry all the time and its easy and goes pretty quick. The FS boat is nice, but I rather spent the extra $70 on a great pedicure at the FS spa!

We were just in nevis and the fs in march. The ferry was $85 pp round trip.

I stayed at the FS on the Big Island and a pedicure and just a polish change was $150!!!!! Im hoping the one on Nevis is not as overpriced.

The ferry rt is $12.00US pp and the 4 seasons boat is $75.00US rt pp.

Thanks everyone :)... we only need the ferry one way, as we are flying into SK and flying out of Nevis, is there a one way fare?

Sunnyboy Apr 28th, 2005 08:16 AM

Yes, you can purchase a one-way ferry trip. It's 1/2 the cost of a round trip fare.

Getting back to the spa prices at the FS mentioned earlier in this thread...

Does anyone recall what the prices are for massages, etc. at the FS Nevis?

(I will be in Nevis in 2 weeks, staying at Montpelier though)

cruisinred: I'd be very interested to hear about your montpelier stay....and Nevis for that matter. We're staying at montpelier in July. Thanks!
