February vacation deals to Caribbean??
 

I am looking for a package from Boston to anywhere in the Caribbean for February school vacation week. Any good sources for information or packages that anyone knows about? Looking to spend no more than $2000 for me and two kids, including air.

School vacation week is ALWAYS expensive..and prices and destinations are not set yet by either GWV or TNT (see messages above)... There are lots of destinations that are bargains..but you must book early when they go on sale in October or November..Consider the D.R., great value for your $$.

We've made two "President's Day Week" trips to the Caribbean with our child, and it is very hard to get good deals for those dates. Liberty Travel has always told me that their package rates are "blacked out" for that week.<BR><BR>If you book it now, you'll probably pay a lot. The best deals will be on shorter notice. Waiting can pay off if you have nerves of steel and some flexibility on destinations.<BR><BR>You can buy plane tickets now and make hotel reservations now, but you'll pay extra for the piece of mind, and you'll probably have to sleep in a tent to stay within your budget.<BR><BR>There are several Websites that market packages (some are mentioned above), and you also may want to consider a charter (such as Apple, TNT, etc.) to save money.<BR><BR>Airfares to the Caribbean for next February, if purchased separately, are ridiculously high right now.<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>

Unfortunately for President's Week the air alone for 3 will probably cost close to $2000!
