Favorite Caribbean travel magazine?
I currently receive Caribbean Travel and Life but I am wondering if there are others that you would recommend? If so, what is the name and why do you enjoy it? Thanks!

I think CTL is the best for strictly Caribbean travel. Depending on what the feature is, Conde Nast Traveller and Travel and Leisure are pretty good, but obviously not limited to the Caribbean. Islands is second rate.

I am also a fan of CT&L, however....I have yet to see any articles on the damage inflicted by Ivan last September. I would think that these major events in a region the magazine is essentially about, would cover such an event. I question the journalistic integrity of the magazine as it pertains to reporting on the region. It comes off as a marketing brochure for the region subsidized by the various island governments and their tourism departments.

without a doubt, for me it's Caribbean Compass, a yachtie-oriented newsmagazine distributed from Puerto Rico to Chile. Get an online taste at www.caribbeancompass.com.

MACO, a 3x yearly on Caribbean lifestyle/architecture/cuisine out of Antigua; JAMAICA JOURNAL out of Canada;the UK edition of Conde Nast Traveller. All augment the broader scale of CT&L with a narrower, more quirky focus.
