Family Trip Recommendations: All inclusive, Fast Flight, 2 bedroom

hi there! My husband and I have a 1 year old and 3 year old and we want to take our nanny with us on this trip. I don't care what beach it is but needs to be a relatively fast flight from SWFL (fort myers).

- Any beach in caribbean (mexico maybe alternative)
- All inclusive
- At least 2 bedrooms or joining rooms
- We're on a budget of 5k ish for the entire trip
- Would love to have a big pool area for our son to play or kids activities
- We really love the bigger resort feel, not small boutique type resorts

Any ideas?

I believe the only Caribbean destinations you can reach non-stop from Fort Myers Airport are Nassau, Bahamas On Silver Airways and Cancun, Mexico on Sun Country Airlines. Every other destination wiill require a connecting flight via Miami, Atlanta or some other airport.

Speaking in sweepingly general terms, the Caribbean coast of Mexico has All Inclusives and typically will be less expensive than most of the actual Caribbean islands. No ideas about flights though.

My guess is that the ONLY way you can get 5 people to an AI for 5K is going to be Mexico. I would look at the bigger AIs along the Riviera Maya, the choices are endless, and the prices can be very reasonable.

You can use a website like cheapcaribbean dot com to get some ideas of what kinds of things are available for what price range.
