Exuma Flight Connection?

Does this seem doable?

Arriving on AA in Miami at 2:25pm, connecting to American Eagle departing
at 3:15pm to Great Exuma?

I would do that if I didn't check any bags. It will be in a different terminal so you will be running from one gate to the other. Most likely it won't leave on time but you never know.

I would want to know if there is another flight out or if you have to wait until the next day before I made my decision (and small planes so seat availability in high season will be an issue as well).

also be aware that miami is in my opinion one of the most difficult airports to navigate (run through)....its huge and if you are on the other side you will have to take the tram...not fun and as beachgirl noted if you have to get your luggage and re-check it i personally dont think you have enough time...just a thought!

I really don't think you'll make it. The last couple of times I've gone thru in Miami (mid Jan, Nov), you leave the gate and have to go through security again, and the lines have been long. Also, anything under an hour and AA might not help you with connections either should you miss it.

That connection also doesn't allow for anything to go wrong on the previous flight. Even just a minor weather delay or traffic jam on the tarmac and you're out of luck. If everything goes right, you could make it. As soon as something doesn't, you could be stuck.

Thanks so much for your thoughts everyone! Luckily we found a connection giving us more time :)

Excellent! I was going to suggest going through Ft. Lauderdale if you didn't have other options. It's smaller and much, much easier.
