Ever been to Compass Point?

I have been poking around and found Compass Point in the Bahamas...looks like it closed for awhile and now is reopened? Has anyone ever stayed there and/or what can you tell me about it...which is the best villa?

Did you look on Trip Advisor? There are recent reviews. The latest ones has great pics of the property.

I also wish we had some Fodorite responses to this one. It looks like we will be going but is a bit of a mixed bag on Trip Advisor, although leaning to the more positive.

We are just looking for a quiet place where we can do some AM activities and then relax the rest of the day for a long Labor DAy weekend.

Just got back. Compared to the mega all inclusive resorts Compass Point is wonderful if you want to be removed from that sort of thing.

Rooms were clean and large and comfortable. Bath was a tad small but not really an issue at all.

They are next to a flight path so get quite a bit of noise as the planes come in over Love Beach.

If we go again I'd ask for a beach front unit as far to the end as possible to get away from the pool area. There were 2 couples who monopolized the pier off our unit the first 2 days we were there. They were loud and drunk most of the day. Thankfully they left though.
