educational adventure

Hi,
We are taking a disney cruise. I am sure it will be nice but I do not want our families port activities to be contrived adventures. No swimming with animals or air conditioned mini-buses.

I have two boys ages 10 and 6 who love adventure and nature. Any suggestions? I would like to do something with a guide or a tour company. We are up for anything as long as it is safe, entertaining and educational.

I don't understand how you think swimming with the Sting Rays or doing a tour of the Island in Grand Cayman could not be educational. You make of it what you will.

Might try a tour at the Bontanical Gardens. Take a cab and walk through it.

swimming with the stingrays at sting ray city is a wonderful & unique experience. who knows - one of your boys might grow up to be a marine biologist.
botanical garden is delightful. the boys will like seeing the blue iguana that wander about & the cayman parrots but might otherwise be bored.
you could hike the mastic trail to see indigenous plants. no guides. take a lot of water if you go. sandals are not your best choice.
