Eating locations...
We will be in Grand Cayman for the day...<BR>have heard about a few places to eat, but do not know their location. "Cracked Conch",<BR>"Reef Grill", "Smugglers Cove" and "Over the Edge". We are kind of looking for a local type of place for lunch. We will be in the Cemetary Reef & over by the C.I. Yaht Club areas. Anyone with any experience or advice would be a great help!! Thanks!

Cranked Conch is located at the northern end of Seven Mile Beach, about 5-6 miles(guess) from Georgetown. Reef Grill is located in the heart of 7MB, only 1-2 miles north of town. Smugglers is located in downtown Georgetown, right on the water. The Edge is about 20 minute drive south from town in a town called Boddentown. All of these are directly on the water except for The Reef Grill, which is set back behind a beachbar(Royal Palms) from the beach. Smugglers Cove & The Reef Grill are both upper end places, that are in a different league compared to the Edge & The Cracked Conch.

Thank you very much for the locations! As far as the different style...we want just good local food...which would you recommend? Not fancy though, as we will have very casual clothes on!

For great local food, try Champion House on Eastern Avenue. Fabulous.

Where is eastern avenue?

ocee,<BR>I second the vote for Champion House if local food is what your looking for. Great food, very casual and very inexpensive. It's right in Georgetown, so it would be very easy for you to have lunch there. Enjoy Grand Cayman!<BR>Sandy
