Dress Code????
We're heading off to Anguilla for our honeymoon in three short weeks - yay! And, we're starting to think about packing. What's the typical dress in Anguilla? Does my fiance need to bring a jacket for dinner, or is it more beachy casual? We're staying at Cap Juluca. Any input you could provide would be most helpful!

No jackets necessary on Anguilla.
During the day shorts & t-shirts are fine at resorts and when walking around the island. Beach attire, of course, when you are on the beach. Wear a cover-up for lunch. For dinner at CJ or any of the other upscale resorts and/or restaurants women normally wear sundresses or skirt & blouse or pants % blouse. Men wear khakis or Dockers, collared shirts (short or long sleeve - golf shirts are fine) and closed toe shoes (Boat shoes work well). For casual dinners shorts are OK. |
I'd agree with RoamsAround- I wore either a summery skirt and sandals or a summer dress and sandals for dinner out. SH usually wore pants and a nice shirt. Have a wonderful honeymoon- best wishes!

Contact your hotel for their dress code. Some upscale hotels do require a collared shirt (not a golf shirt or Polo) and close-toed shoes for evening dining. You may want to take along a light sport coat or dress sweater if the evenings are cool.
