Just booked today for a quick getaway with my daughter. Gotta love that fast flight and the paradise that awaits. Having honeymooned in the Fairmount Southampton....I find myself always returning there...it's our end of summer fling!

We just came back from the Fairmont Southampton. We booked a couple of months ago with the $99 for 99 hours sale. Although we paid $159. It was a great trip, but I had no idea how expensive the restaurants would be. Bring your wallet!

Yes, travelgirl2, Bermuda is costly..but not unlike other islands...we just returned from the Turks & Caicos and one night it was nearly $600 for the five of us for dinner !!!

Last year my girlfriend and I were in Bermuda...we found the sushi bar at King Henry's which surprised us a bit and we saved some dough by eating there...we also went to The Swizzle Inn and splurged at the Waterlot one night.

I was able to get the fourth night free and full breakfast....and we are on the gold level which helps as well. Oh those scones!

What! I missed scones?!?

Lol...the scones served with sweet, creamy butter at high tea are to die for....the Jasmine lounge does "tea time" in the afternoon and it is so nice to sit and enjoy the beautiful sandwiches, pastries and SCONES! I nabbed my daugher "hording" scones to bring down to the beach....yes, those little zip-locks do come in handy!! Just another reason to love Bermuda and the Southampton Princess....we also loved the spa and the deck of the spa pool.....pure bliss to lay out on that cliff overlooking the sea, complete with jacuzzi and tons of blooming flowers!
