Dominican Republic best time to visit.
 

Hi everyone, It's the first time we have considered D Rep but we are not certain of the best time to vist, hurricanes etc..

I understand the Hurricane season is June-Sept? Is there a real threat in mid -June?

Plus any general advise would be useful at this stage.

I would add to avoid the Santo Domingo area. Punta Cana and La Romana are supposed to be pretty nice.
