uh does it rain in all of Aruba or mostly in certain areas? Maybe this could factor in why most tourists hardly see the rain?

Since Aruba has almost no terrain (no mountains in particular) there is no topography to produce any weather patterns. Many volcanic islands have several micro-climates because the mountain(s) induce crossing air to rise, cool and produce rain.

We have been to Aruba many times and yes it can most definitely rain in Aruba. Although it is unusual for it to rain for long periods, it definitely can happen. Several years ago we went in January for seven days and it rained for five of them. The beach was awful as well with a lot of broken coral and cloudy water. Another year we went in March and it rained for four days. Last fall my parents went for two weeks, and it rained for two weeks. They were shocked. Everybody says it doesn't rain in Aruba. We went in December and the weather was perfect. It is all a matter of luck.

Okay I am thinking of going to Aruba in the very beginning of September.

Most of you are saying I have nothing to fear from Hurricane season?

I thought Aruba was out of the hurricane zone?

But then again I was one of the delusional ones who thought it never rains there too.

13 hurricanes and tropical storms over the past 120 years have affected Aruba. About one every 10 years. Since hurricane season is 6 months long, that's about a risk of 1 every 260 weeks.
Not worth changing your vacation plans over.

Even on the hapy island it rain's but it won't take a day. Perhaps an hour or 2 and the sun is there again. Only when a tropical storm arives it can rain a day, but that's one every 10 years. I experience one in february!!
Tip: sometimes when it's cloudy at the palm beach, then try beaches at the north (malmok) or at the south (baby beach) and you'll probably see the sun is shining there. Locals can help you descide where to go
