Don't know about Astwood, but the south shore got hit hard. I am looking for news too. Found an interesting report on the damage at Horseshoe Beach on www.Bermudaonion.com. Also read someones comments on Bermuda shorts about the natural arches being wiped out, which is not surprising. I keep reading the royal gazette on line.

Thanks for the link, Penny. It looks like Warwick Parish got slammed pretty hard, I couldn't believe how many of those huge trees at Astwood Park were uprooted. I feel bad for the families of the 4 who died, but also glad that the death toll wasn't higher.

I'm wondering too if the Astwood Cove Apartments sustained any significant damage. It's a great place to stay. I had so much fun in Bermuda last December that I was planning on going back for this coming New Year's, but after looking at the destruction in the photos I might have to come up with a plan B.

I think it will work for you, Bermuda is getting back on its feet now. It has a strong intrastructure! Go for it!
