Going to Catalonia Bavaro 8/14: Any thoughts?

eautiful,clean.Ground : gorgeous . Food
K to good.Beach:Not a good stretch of beach(lots of rocks & seaweed in the water )in Punta Cana ,some other hotels there have much better beaches ,some of the best in the Caribbeans.Pool:beautiful.Service:good.<BR>Were there just in July.Paid $615.00 per person plus tax,would not pay more than that to stay there.Rather pay more for better food and especially better beach.<BR><BR><BR>

Thank you Sue. Kind of you to respond. I paid the same rate. For $100.00 a night it sounds pretty dang good, especially when you throw in food and drinks. It's easy to drop that much a night at just the bars at some resorts I've been to. Thanks again. Rod O'
