Diving in Tobago

I will be in Tobago in June. I would love to learn to scuba dive while there. Where are the best places to go to learn and dive?

It's raining in Tobago in June, be warned. Tobago Dive Masters are very good. This is not an easy dive location by any means-you will have to lug your gear through the water and hand it up to the guys on the boat.

You see, the way that island sits in the water makes it like a spindle in a washing machine. I was there 3 weeks ago and only dove one day- with only 40 feet of visibility and awful surge, it was NOT fun...and yes I've been diving a while!

Do NOT dive with the guys from Blue Waters Inn. Period. Manta Lodge is OK, Man Friday is OK< but Tobago Dive Masters is the best. They are in Speyside- call ahead to make sure they are open, as it is the low season.
