Diving in Barbados
 

Will be in Barbados in June 2011 - Does anyone have a experience with a dive operator they could recommend? Thanks.

Had a couple of dives with West Side Scuba Centre, went to a wreck of a Greek freighter Stavronikia, was very enjoyable.

I have also used Reefers and Wreckers and found Philip and co. to be very accomodating, professional and funny. At one point on the way back to the shore,they stopped at a fish shop and bought us all some conch fritters! They were delicious.

I have learned from numerous trips to get your diving in early, as I have waited for a couple of days into our trip and been sorely disappointed because of poor weather or a cruise ship docked and almost everyone wanted to scuba dive.
