evianlives - as a point of information, in airline parlance "direct" means your plane will stop in one or more places before reaching it's final destination. "Non-stop" means just that, your flight arrives at its destination without any intermediate stops. A "connecting flight" means you switch planes at some point during your trip. The point is when booking your flight make sure you get the type of flight you are seeking.
