Yes, we have used Dexter. We liked him a lot. First impressions aren't always accurate, so don't be turned off by the look of his boat. He is very knowledgable and helpful. We would use him again.<BR>Hope this helps!

I've been to stingray city twice with Dexter and would do it again. He a character all right. He only takes out small groups and he always has a great story to tell. Have fun!!!

Can you join up with the Stingray people at the dock from the Cruise ships? How much do we pay to snorkel at Stingray?
Thanks

We went with Dexter last year, and found him very helpful and a blast. His sense of humor was delightful. We had about 15 people on the catamaran and he sailed us back in . It was gorgeous. He served us soda and fruit, but I believe that Dexter made up for any other thing we could have had to eat. He was informative, helpful, and very good with the few we had that had never snorkeled.

We are heading back in 11 weeks [and counting] and we will be doing two trips this year. One with Dexter...just because no one can coax an eel out of a hiding place better, or make you more comfortable feeding, and kissing a ray - and Don Soto's, because I understand he does a phenomenal trip also and you can buy a dvd or movie of the trip.

No offense intended for those on ships, but...for those of you not coming in on cruise ships, but staying on the island...be sure to check out the port authority site to see what days there are no cruise ships in, or maybe even just one, and plan your trips on that day. The more ships in, the more people out, and the less you get to interact. You will get so much more out of your stingray city trip because there are fewer people out there with you.
