destination suggestions for solo
 

Visited Secrets Excellence last year, really enjoyed the "friendly" atmosphere of the staff and the resort is very nice and sparkling clean. Would like to visit a whiter beach with excellent food with more single travelers-prefer quiet time and pampering.

Have you thought of going to Jamaica? We are going to Negril in May & have heard it is the best beach. There are several places to stay there that have single travelers. Try posting at www.negril.com to get some suggestions. You should have no trouble finding a quiet place to stay. It just depends on your budget & what your "needs" are.

I second Negril, and if you are not deadset on the beach, there are some great hotels with lots of solo travellers up on the cliffs which are also very beautiful. What is your budget?

White beach is important, excellent food and facilities preferred. Budget around 2,000 for a week-10 days. Flight from RDU (NC) preferred.
