Destination Help for Mother and daughters

My sister and I gave our mother a trip to the carribean for her 60th birthday. We would like to go in April of 2007. Would love to stay in a nice all-inclusive with not too many kids around. We will be flying out of Dallas. Can only stay 5 nights. Mom loves to walk on the beach in the mornings and snorkel. Any ideas of places to go that don't take all day to get there, since were only there for 5? We would love to go ahead and book air with our AA FF miles.

Where weve been on other trips: Cayman, St. John., Tortola, Belize, Cancun, Cozumel, Playa, Akumal–so we are not rookies to the carribean, just looking for fresh ideas. Just came from Tortola, and don't want to spend 2 days traveling. A nice direct flight would be perfect. Thought about Cabo, but I hear you can't get in the water. Turks? (too far?) Maybe we should just go back to Playa. All you experts please give us your 2 cents.

PS. Tortola trip report is coming!

Isla de Mujures (sp?) ("Island of the Women" I think) off the coast near Cancun.

I think an All Inclusive in Cancun would be fun.

One warning, skip the weeks before and after Easter or you'll be covered up in kids and it will be impossible to cash in your FF miles.

check out "Villa Rolandi" on Isla Mujeres - not all inclusive but includes breakfast and a very nice, gourmet dinner!!!!!! no kids, no parties like Cancun, just afforable luxury and all suites overlook the water (30 rooms total - all suites!!) AND, the BEST beds in mexico!!!!!!!!!

you'll love it!
