Delta or jet blue to sxm?

Planning a trip to Anguilla and both delta and jet blue have direct flights. Deltas times r slightly better and the flight from the same points is a bit shorter. I usually prefer JetBlue but my husband is urging me to book delta Bc of the slightly better times . Prices r the same. What would u do?

I am not a fan of Jet Blue. We did them to SXM in July. They have many delays out of SXM. We were delayed to the later flight that day causing us to mix out connections in San Juan PR. There was no reason as in bad weather no explanation just welcome to jet blue type attitude. In San Juan we were told them put us up for a night and we could catch the 4 p.m. out the next day or try and make the late night into JFK. Our cars were in Newark and that is where we flew out of--we did not want to stay overnight and a day in Puerto Rico so we opted for the late flight into JFK. We then had to figure out a way to get to Newark. We found a bus that took us through new York City by then it is 1 a.m. All trains had ceased operating and a cab would have been very $$$. We finally reached the airport, and our car. Got home at 3 a.m. Needless to say I will not use them again even with there $100 voucher. They can keep it! Fly Delta.

We've had great experiences with Jetblue, and have flown them all over the Caribbean, with only one delay due to technical problems out of Cancun.

I think the seats are generally much more comfortable in economy than other carriers, love the personal TVs, and the option to buy extra legroom which also expedites you through security at most airports.

Thank you both! I played solomon and split the baby- jet blue out and delta back. Prices were best doing it that way and the times pretty good too. Thank you!!

Yay for planning your Anguilla trip! I wish it were easy to fly Delta OR Jet Blue from where we live, but American offers the best schedules from our airport and let's just say that I'm not enamored of them.

No matter how many times you ask, you'll always find someone who had a bad experience on every airline.

Having said that, I'm a nervous flyer. I will take Jetblue any day over other airlines. Leather seats and tvs on every seat make the ride as good as its going to get. I have found Jetblue customer service to be the best. No charge for earlier flights. Flexible when you find better prices. Once I scratched my eye in Exumas, so my fault. They let me spend the night in flu to take of it with my family at no extra charge. No other airline has been so accommodating before. (and I travel tons)

Unfortunately I usually have to fly AA most of the time. I'd take Jetblue over them any day.

All airlines have the option to purchase extra leg room. Nothing so extraordinary about that---I was told that jet Blue is always late in flying out of SXM. I am not sure about other destinations, but for some reason there are issues there per other passengers input. Good choice to split it up and I am glad you are using jet blue to go and delta when you leave the Caribbean. Good choice.

Another JetBlue fan here, flown them several times to Caribbean with no problems. But one thing to keep in mind is that the satellite tv channels don't work once you get away from the US mainland. You still get free movies though.
