decisions, decisions--help!
Been to Aruba, Bermuda,Grand Cayman, Bahammas, St.Thomas,St. Martin,Cancun,St. John, are the other islands in the caribbean going to be a repeat? Where to go in August? Barbados? Antiqua? Jamica? HELP
|
Michele: How about St. Lucia, Anguilla or St. Barts? All islands are not the same and in August, you should be able to find some great deals. Some islands can be more commercialized than others. Check out the many websites that are available and plug in some of your criteria. Good luck!

One thing to keep in the mind is that August is the middle of the rainy season. If this concerns you, stick to Aruba, Curaco, Bonaire and others that don't get a lot of rain.

You might consider Anguilla. The annual carnival runs from 1-10 August. Lots of fun

Rainy season! That's a joke. I live in Antigua and have yet to suffer a rainy season in August - or any other month for that matter! We get showers, but a day or two of rain is a rarity at any time of the year and the likelihood is only slightly higher in August.

I'd have to agree with Brain - i go to the Caribbean every summer (July and August) and have never been bothered by rain beyond some showers once in a while. It is hurricane season, however, and maybe that's what XXX meant.

that's "Brian" - sorry
