Day sailing trips/snorkling

Planning a trip to St. Thomas in April, this will be our 2nd time on the island. This time would like to try a day sailing trip that includes snorkling. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Take the Lady Linsey from the Ritz Carlton or take the Heavenly Days from Bolongo Bay. Both go over to St. John and anchor near Caneel Bay for snorkeling and swimming.

We did a Day Sail while in St.Lucia and it was Super. We did the snorkling and even had lunch at a out of the way resturant ( very good ). Make sure you take sunscreen it get quite hot on the boat. Have Fun!!

A couple of years ago we did a sailboat charter at Red Hook Harbor, St. Thomas. It was a GREAT GREAT GREAT day. Very relaxing. The sailboat only takes 5-7 passengers. They had 3 girls from the BVIs and my husband and I. They sail across to St. John and do two snorkeling stops. They fixed a great lunch onboard. At the time, it was about $105/pp, about 7 hours total. Here is their link - http://home.att.net/~sail-fantasy/index.html

It is a husband/wife who own the boat and do the charter.

I'm sure there are others like them.

Have fun!

Hi tilly, Although we have not done either (ran out of time on our last two trips to the VI) I have had good recommendations to both New Horizons II and Stormy Petrel charters for snorkling. You can check them out and book via www.bookitvi.com
