Dancing in San Juan
 

We are going to be in San Juan for a short time (about 4 hours) in March. We had a great time at Carlos and Charlies in Cozumel and were wondering if there is anything similar in San Juan. We love to dance! Any help would be appreciated.

Diane, San Juan has a great nite life . However 4 hours is not enough time to beat the usually heavy traffic during weekends and do some dancing.. I don't know what time of the day you're talking about, but things don't get hot 'till after 10P.M. If you're close to the airport you might go to the El San Juan Hotel which is 15 minutes away. If you're going on a Cruise and are in the old city that's something else. Give me answers and I'll reply.

I second heading to El San Juan hotel in Old San Juan. Was just there last weekend and had a wonderful time. If you have time, check out a club there called Babylon. Have fun!

Sabrina is right-on. However the El San Juan is in Isla Verde close to the airport and not in the old city (Old San Juan).

Duh, you're absolutely right Joe. I think I had a few too many rum drinks...Speaking of rum. If you have time, Diane, you should take the Bacardi distillery tour. Lots of fun and free drinks at the end. I could swear it only took about an hour.
