Currency in Aruba

My fiance (soon to be wife) will be heading to Aruba in October for our honeymoon. I was wondering how they handle currency conversion there. I wouldn't imagine they take the American dollar, or do they? What would be the best way for me to take money, travelers checks, cash, etc.? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Sorry, I did leave out that I would be going with her on the honeymoon. ;)

We found that dollars were accepted everywhere in Aruba. There are lots of ATM's, so no need for traveler's checks, in my opinion.

You can certainly use USD's. It is accepted pretty much anywhere on the island. Happy Honeymooning!
