Curacao - Sand Fleas?

I know these little biters are notorious on beaches, what about in Curacao? Anyone have any run in's with these little guys?
Someone posted elsewhere they were bitten by Sea Lice, anyone have problems with this?

I didn´t feel any when I was there in April.

We didn't went we went last May. I did get stung by a jelly fish though. It's wasn't a big deal. Used Benadryl cream and had a read mark on my ankel for about 3 days.

Of all the places we've been to the only time we ever had an issue was in St. Thomas at dusk and last December when we went back to Cozumel. Again a dusk. I think they were the no-seeums.

They were not a problem in November 2004, 2006 nor 2006.

Correction. Last visit was 2008 and no sand flies other than if there was a rain shower at 4-5 PM until it dries, that takes 1 hour, there may be a few, but after that no issue of any importance.
