Curacao -- Need Resort Suggestions

My wife & I are considering CURACAO this year for our Caribbean vacation. We like a nice beach that's close to the action (restaurants, nightlife, etc). Any resort suggestions?

For comparison purposes, we love the Radisson in Aruba and the Westin on Grand Cayman.

Thanks.

My choice would be the Marriott. Curacao's specialty may not be the beach as they have strong tradewinds, but the Marriott has a good-sized beach and a nice pool. They have a really good Italian restaurant called Portofino's and another restaurant that is open for all three meals. The third restaurant upstairs has a great Caesar Salad made tableside, but that's about it. The taxi service offered on the island is a good one, as they don't have meters. They just charge according to destination. If you tell the bellhops where you are going and indicate you'd like to share a ride with others going to the same destination, they will do their best. They have Karaoke twice a week, a managers cocktail party one night, and a buffet with the limbo one night. You can also have drinks at the beach bar. The island is so safe that most people just don't stay at the resorts at night.
We are going to Grand Cayman and staying at the Westin in a couple of weeks. If they offer half of the quality in meals, etc. that the Curacao Marriott did, we'll be happy!
If you have any otehr questions, let me know!
