Cuisinart Resort - fridge in room?
Does anyone know if there is a mini fridge in the rooms?
|
If you look at the FAQ section on the website, you'll see they do.
|
They have a small "dormitory" sized refrigerator that they predominantly use to stock mini bar items. There is enough excess room to put in a couple of extra water bottles, plus the previous night's leftovers.....but there is not enough room to stock up on food items in lieu of going out to eat.

By the way, you will love CuisanArt. It's a wonderful resort. If you have any other questions, I'd be happy to answer. We just got back from a great vacation there in November.

thank you. we are looking to go the first week of june and get married there. I just like to be able to have cold water etc so I am pleased they have a fridge.
Any thing on the island we shouldn't miss. I have seen a lot about the restaurants on the island which is great because we like to dine around and not just stay in the hotel. |
They provide bottled water free of charge - both in the room and on the beach. It was definitely a nice touch. One that I appreciated immensely.
Once I got there I really didn't want to do anything but lounge on the beach, swim, and read my book(s). So I am sorry to report that we did not do any island exporing except for the restaurants. CuisanArt has a very nice spa. We did not use any of the services, excepting the gym. While we were there, however, a couple on their honeymoon highly recommended the dual massage in the room. They said it was fabulous and included champagne, candlelighting, etc. The stadium kitchen event was very nice.....Athena was fun and interactive, and the food was beyond delish. (And they give the recipes too.) You can also use the hobie cats and sunfish at CuisanArt, or have one of the attendants take you out on the bay for a 20 minute (or so) ride. The restaurants were very good. We went to Altamer twice, Straw Hat, Mango's, Hibernia, and Cedar Grove. I have to stay our least favorite, and I'll probably get lambasted for this, was Straw Hat. Maybe they were having an off night, but while the menu descriptions sounded amazing the actual flavors were uninspired. I hope it was just us. Hibernia was amazing, but it is quite a trek....all the way on the other side of the island. You really can't fit all the amazing restaurants into one week.... |
