Cruise Day Trips
 

Going on a cruise in December which includes stops in Cozumel and Grand Caymans. Would appreciate recommendations for day trips/tours for both islands.<BR>Thanks

I have been to both places and by far I enjoyed the ten mile beach in th Cayman Islands. My husband and I took a taxi to a beautiful inclusive resort and hung out on the beach all day. At the resort you can rent a jet ski,paddle boats, or just lay in the sun. You will have access to the bars on there resorts premise. This was the best day of my cruise.

George,<BR>One of the best tours you can take in Grand Cayman is the Stingray Sandbar Tour!! They take you out by boat and you actually swim with the stingrays!! You can feed and touch them, and it's just an unforgetable experience. I would try to find a tour once you get on the island, as it will be cheaper than what the cruise ship offers, and less people on the boat. After that, find a nice spot on Seven Mile beach and just enjoy the beautiful beach and water!! Have a great time!!

Check with the cruise line to see what tours are available. When last in Cozumel (10 yrs.) there wasn't alot to do other than snorkel and visit the ruins.

In Grand Catman the sting rays are a must. What a great experience!!! Shopping in the Caymans is a let down. Very snobbish clerks and very expensive items. Stick with the fish, they are definitly more friendly!!!
