crowds

Hi,
Can anyne give me an idea of how crowded beaches are in Bermuda in September? I am trying to decide between St. John and Bermuda and I am concerned as it is peak season in one and not the other.

Thank you!
Tara

The beach at the Fairmont Southhampton Princess was not crowded by East coast beach standards. The beach at Ariel Sands was empty. The public beach, Horseshoe Bay, was "crowded" lol in one spot by the entrance but stroll down the beach it was empty as was Jobson's cove! Many beaches, large and small - some better than others for swimming. All in all, not crowded during the summer, which is peak season.

To get more replies, you might want to add the location to your heading "Bermuda Beaches Crowded?".

My husband and I took a cruise to Bermuda in early September and spent each day beach hopping on our scooter. We never encountered a "crowded" beach. On many beaches we were almost completely alone. The water is an absolutely perfect temperature that time of year also!

I have visited both in Sept and in my experience neither will have crowded beaches.

Other than Horseshoe on Bermuda and Trunk on St. John we never encountered a crowded beach on either island. Keep in mind that September is probably peak hurricane season on both islands.
