Couples Resorts in Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Has anyone been to COUPLES RESORTS in Ocho Rios, Jamaica? I'm considering having my wedding ceremony and honeymoon there next summer. All suggestions would be helpful since I have only a few months to plan. Thanks.

Couple Ocho Rios is beautiful. It was the first all inclusive in Jamaica and has only improved over the years. The grounds are beautiful; the food quite good, and the Tower Island is complete with a swim up au naturel bar. Very Very Romantic and they include a plantation tour, Dunn River Fall, an Ocho Rios Shopping trip, horesback riding, and a glass
bottom boat ride, an exceptional value. The only suggestion that I can make is to take the commuter flight from Montego Bay to Ocho Rios and back to avoid the nerve wracking, just under 2 hour van ride! It is worth every penny. Ciboney and Braco Lido are also very nice alternatives and of course Sandals. The Sandals all have completely different personalities.

The Enchanted Garden in Ocho Rios is the only place to get married. My wife and I were married there a year or so ago,had 30 people come down with us.We had a blast the entire week,staff was fantastic.Compared to a wedding at home there was next to nothing to arrange,they did most of it for us.Stayed the week after in negril at Swept Away(by ourselfs of course),a very nice wedding present.Hope the two of you have a great wedding,I know we wont ever forget ours.

Have stayed at Couples Resort 3 times,and Grand Lido Negril 5 times. Both are great,Lido has just a few more frills and the benefit of the more laid back city of Negril. Have seen several ship board weddings on the 147ft. My Zien,AWSOME!!!! To sum it up both resorts are great,but Negril is far and away better than Ocho!!!!!!!!!
